Xbox wireless disconnecting.

Ok. So if I'm posting in the wrong section move my thread.
I am having an issue and although I believe I've found the problem I'd like some other people's opinions.

I have a Netgear wireless router 2.4ghz dual band and I have two Xbox 360's

One is my little brothers and the other mine. His is an older one while mine is a slim.

His is connected by Ethernet and mine is wireless.

While we are both online I will periodically get disconnected from Xbox live.

I believe that this is due to two things in part.

1) both xbox are connecting through the same ports on one router and thusly
2) the hard wired one ends up taking priority. I believe that it's a conflict issue with the outgoing/incoming port numbers being shared amongst two devices simultaneously.

However, I'd like to know anyone else's professional/experienced opinion on the subject in order to confirm/deny my hypothesis. And if there's a way to fix it to make it so that while both of us are playing online neither one of us will have to worry about being disconnected.

Solution
Try switching the places of the consoles; Connect yours by Ethernet and his by wireless and see what happens.
You could try manually setting the IP addresses in the settings of the router so that they won't interfere with each other.
