Hi guys,

Upgraded my system. Including a new case. Did the merge today from my old case to my new, with the new upgrades.

Here are my specs

-i7 4790k
-Asus Sabertooth Mark I z97
-GTX 670 4GB SC
-Corsair HX850
-Corsair Vengence 16GB (2x8GB)
-Corsair H80i CPU cooler
-2 Samsung 840 EVO SSD
-1 TB HDD

Basically, I got a new case, and a new motherboard, I switched my Sabertooth MARK II for the Higher quality MARK I.

Everything was working fine before the merge.

At first boot up, I got as far as logging into windows for 4-5 minutes. At that point, I wasn't really doing anything in windows, I was just monitoring my Temperatures and setting things up in Corsair LINK. I did notice though that the CPU load was at 25-30% load, which is very odd considering there was nothing really going on.

Then it just restarted. Loaded windows, and then restarted again almost immediately. It kept restarting itself, and each time the time to restart would be shorter. Right now, the computer won't even POST before it restarts. It restarts after about 2-3 seconds after turning it on.

Could be the issue?

Solution
i highly think that either the psu or the motherboard has some issues so if u dont have a spare psu then try to borrow it from a friend a standard 300 watt psu would do the job just remove the gpu and boot the system for testing......

I rechecked all the plugs, reapplied the thermal paste, and switched the ram.

What baffles me is the fact that it turns on after the first start and goes into windows, I log in and then stay in windows for 2 or 3 minutes. It shuts off at idle. And then tries to restart, this time only getting to the windows boot screen before restarting. Upon the next boot it will go up to post ad then start to restart. Eventually the computer is on for 2 or 3 seconds before it shuts down.

I don't get it. What could this be??

And then at one point, it won't even turn on until I reset the psu.

So now it just shuts off, it doesn't even try to restart. I was able to get into windows and was able to monitor cpu temps to see if it was a cooling problem which caused it to shut down. Temps at shutdown were 32 celcius.

I don't have another psu. I first hear the regular post beep but after a while of restarting it won't even get that far in terms of loading the system.
Ice already tried removing the gpu as well as the 1 stick or ram to Bo avail.
