I wouldn't trust having a 500w psu, especially if its a dual-rail. For what you have, here are your options though...

Nvidia Option: GTX 760, $252 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
AMD Option: R9 270x, $190 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

If you wanted to later upgrade your cpu, I would recommend first getting a 850w psu, a R9 290 graphics card second (only because an R9 290 cannot run on a 500w PSU), later on you could get a combo of a 4690k with a 212 fan. This whole setup I gave you would be able to be overclocked, run all games on max at over 60 fps, and is upgradable for another 290 in crossfire. Not needed but I thought I'd let you in on this in case you were thinking about it. I also put it in order in case you wanted to get one at a time.

PSU: EVGA 850w, $100 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Graphics Card: Sapphire Tri-X R9 290, $410 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
CPU + Motherboard: 4690k Bundle, $355 http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?Ite...
Fan: 212 Evo, $35 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Ok but the gtx 760 requires a 600w power supply. I need one that can run on a 500w power supply.
