I recently purchased a 256 GB SSD to replace my 32 GB SSD that I ran my OS and a few small programs from. The 32 GB drive is full at this point so I want to clone the 32 GB Drive to the 256 GB Drive. The problem is when I try to boot from the new drive I do not see it specifically from Bios, and when I simply unplug the 32 GB and try booting that way it give an error.

The software I used was EaseUS Todo Backup.

In each drive, when you install windows, it makes a 100mb partition that holds the mbr (master boot record). The mbr can be accessed only via BIOS (read only) and via Windows Startup Repair's command prompt. So you can't clone the ssd easyly. 2 ways, one to copy manually the mbr's files to new ssd (not recomended), and second to clone all visible file to new ssd, unplug the old and launch a windows installation cd. When it says INstall Now, don't click it, but press recovery options which is on the bottom left corner. It might see windows 7 insstalled. Let it fix the problem and when it is done, see the report. You should see an mbr fixing report nearly at bottom. If you see, you cloned, if you didn't you can't clone the ssd. Just leave...
