Is there such thing as SATA I cables that'll limit the speed of SATA III drives? Can any SATA cable support the maximum speed of a SATA III drive?

Solution
All SATA cables should transmit data at SATA 3 (6Gb/s) speeds.
As maxwellmelon stated if the cable is made of very cheap materials then it won't reach 6Gb/s speeds.

SATA cables that are advertised/marketed/labeled as "SATA 3 (6Gb/s)" will transmit data at 6Gb/s speeds.
