Hi,

I have a problem with my laptop Dell d620. I know it is an old one, but it worked almost perfectly until last week and I am a little sentimental about this.
Any help solving this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Background:
Recently I have been leaving my laptop with closed lid on desk near a window, so it has been exposed to sun in early hours and heated to approximately 120F (50*C).
After few days like this, one morning it did not want to start at all. It worked after few tries. Next time it shut down on its own, and this was the last time it worked.
Year ago motherboard was replaced because of common Nvidia graphicS chip malfunction. New one is from Intel.

Problem:
Laptop starts, but wont pass bios screen. It shuts down on 1/5 progress bar (app. 3sec.).
On startup all the green leds on keyboard lights up, power and HDD indicators either. Then after short while they flashes once and shuts down with computer.

Troubleshooting:
DVD module removed.
RAMs (2x1GB) switched, tried all the combinations.
CMOS memory cleared by removing battery.
Wont work on battery, on adapter, nor both of them.
Screen shows initial BIOS view.
At this point wont work with external monitor.
HDD removed, wont work with or without.

I even fried the motherboard with hotair naively hoping for miracle, did not work, it was stupid :)
Problem still occurs, I do not have a clue what could I do more. I read about supervisory circuit malfunction in a different dell laptop model, but I could not find one in my model.

I would be gratefull if you could help me with this.
Cheers!
