How often will I need to clean my loop with distilled water and biocide?

Solution
Water is the best room temperature liquid (ignoring Mercury, which isnt feasible for a lot of reasons) in terms of heat capacity and tranfer, additives such as Ethelyne Glycol can hinder performance.
Many people do though, but it really isnt necessary unless your running a loop where the risk of corrosion is high (Aluminium components, etc).

You should clean your loop about every 6 months. Good thing you chose to go with distilled water cause it wont gunk up your system like other cleaning fluids. If you do chose to add color to your loop, i would recommend every 4 months just to ensure your stuff wont gunk up and get dyed that color. If you want color, just add LEDS or colored tubing.
