On the ASUS website it says:
- Supports DisplayPort with max. resolution 4096 x 2160 @ 24 Hz / 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz
- Supports Mini DisplayPort with max. resolution 4096 x 2160 @ 24 Hz / 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz
Maximum shared memory of 512 MB
It also supports up to three displays simultaneously.

The question is whether anybody has tried to run two 4k monitors at 60Hz and it worked.
Warm Regards, Christoph

For 4K resolution you are going to be using a discrete graphics card or three. The monitors will be hooked up to your GPU not the motherboard, so the ports available on the motherboard won't matter.

I suppose this is voided if you are using the 4K monitors for just watching videos or something that does not require graphical computer power though.

The reason I am asking is that I want a fanless solution for business use - no games, little video usage.

Color fidelity would be nice but has more to do with the monitor. I haven't found a fanless 4k video card but this motherboard would allow me to have two 4k monitors attached to my fanless computer if the specs were correct.

None of the reviews on the web have more than one 4k monitor attached as part of their review.
