Yet another new GPU with Black screen

I've been running a GTS 250 for a while now and decided to upgrade.
Picked up a Gigabyte GTX 660 OC with 3GB DDR5. Figured it would be a simple card replacement as the newest drivers were already in.

I replaced the card and fired it up and you can hear the computer powering up, you can hear it boot into the windows logon screen, but the monitor itself fired up, said 'Power Saving Mode' then went black as if there was no signal.

I thought maybe it was the DVI connection so I tried the other connector, and no go. I did the same with the HDMI, and again, No go, same result.

I powered off, double checked the card, removed it and reseated it. I switched out the power cables numerous times. I'd originally attached the two 8Pin to 6Pin PCI-E connections from the PSU into the card, then I tried using the adaptors that came with it and used the standard HDD plugs, didn't work. The card does power on, the fans are running.

I checked the BIOS, and mine doesn't have an option to disable but it does have an option either PCIE or Integrated, and that's what it looks for first, and whatever it detects firs is what it uses. It was already set to PCIE.

I plugged a VGA cable into the onboard GFX and into a separate monitor and was able to see everything properly. Going into Device Manager it doesn't even list the new GTX 660, it does not detect it at all.

Using the Nvidia driver installer just says there are no compatible devices and I cannot install anything, even though the drivers are already installed.

I followed another post and booted into safe mode with driver sweeper. I deleted the integrated VGA graphics and cleaned everything Nvidia out of the system and restarted. Now it just says basic VGA adapter and I still cannot install Nvidia drivers.

You name it and I think I've tried it. I took the card out and put the GTS250 back in and it worked no problem, once I booted into Windows I got the Nvidia Drivers in. Computer works now as it did before, but if I put the GTX660 back in, I have no display.

It's 600W with dual rail, each rail is 25A, and each PCI-E connector is on a separate rail.

MB is a MSI K9N6PGM2-V2 with the latest BIOS update and CPU is AMD Phenom II X4 Black OC'd to 3.5Ghz

Other things running on the computer, two Sata drives, one being HDD the other being CD/DVD, 2 IDE HDD's, and a wireless PCI card.

Any ideas? I'm not sure what else to do here.

I've checked and the MB says it does support the 660.

And I do have integrated gfx and I've checked the device manager, and it says nothing. It doesn't even show the 660 at all.
