Hey guys, recently I have been experiencing really high RAM usage at startup(about 70%) which usually ends up lowering to about 50%.
Specs: Core i3 2100 @3.1GHz ; Radeon HD6670 1GB DDR3 ; 500GB HDD 6MB/s ; Kingston 4GB PC3 - 10600 CL9 240-Pin DIMM 1333 ; ASUS P8H61-M

I have checked my startup programs and unchecked some of those, which did help reduce a little bit.
At startup it acts really slow, but then it lowers to about 50% and the performance isn't that much affected.

Well off the bat Windows consumes a large chunk of memory by default. You've already unchecked items in MSCONFIG but did you check the start up folder? There are some other things you can do to track memory usage but I don't want to over complicate things.

I am seriously getting worried about this, after i rebooted my PC I got 95% usage with just spotifiy, firefox and steam open, which is IN NO WAY normal. Could the memory stick be misplaced or is it software-related?
EDIT: I have downloaded TDSSkiller by Kaspersky and MBAM and ran both, with the due reboots after updates. The RAM doesn't get used up so much at startup but with normal usage I'm still getting 90%'s with only firefox and spotify open.

I tried taking spotify out of the picture and it did reduce a but, but I installed Auslogics Premium and I ran like every possible tool it had. Now I boot with like 30-40% which is good! :D Apparently it was a software issue.
Nevertheless, thank you all for your cooperation.
