Im trying to install windows 8.1 and using 840 EVO for my drive. Windows is asking for the driver CD which the CD this ssd came with isnt recognized to provide any drivers. I guess the cd only has the regular installation information. Or they expect you to already have a running computer. I need to know how I can get the drivers and install windows 8 on my new PC.

When you boot the system the first time it should say something lke install from cd/dvd. At this point put Windows DVD into your drive and restart and you should be fine. If not, check and make sure you have power and sata to your SSD.
