I have a 160gb ipod classic. I recently bought a new hp with windows 8. It has Itunes on it (the latest version) I can see and play the tunes I purchased. I downloaded some new CD's but they will not sync to this Ipod like it would on the last computer. I checked the settings to make sure that is was windows 8 compatibility...but still nothing. Any ideas?

Hi,

I have the same device! It's awesome isn't it.

Apple uses a rather strange device synchronization scheme. You must first sign into your Apple account on iTunes, and then authorize your new computer. It should then detect your iPod when connected, and allow you to either resync it, or copy media manually.
