Getting prepared for my next PC Build for 2015, however I'm pretty disappointed because AMD has yet to come out with 10-series chipsets and 3.0 PCI Ex motherboards. Still AMD is best as for the budget and still leaves room for upgrades. Here is what I'm going with so far....

CPU:
AMD FX-9370 Vishera 8-Core 4.4GHz

The 4930k is a premium product and priced to match, you also don't need it or want it. They had to lower the clock speed to stay in their thermal window with the additional cores so it will get out performed by a 4790k in gaming scenarios, the 4790k also comes in over $200 cheaper. The intel build you chose isn't the BMW to your Chevy budget, its the Lamborghini to your Chevy budget.

The intel build i had posted for you earlier is an actual realistic build that comes in cheaper and better than your AMD build, the most expensive components are pretty much never the best decision, they exist because they can, not because they should....

# i would like to mention out of all my computers ive ever owned only the AMD computers developed issues, but you should get a good few years out of it. Make sure you keep them upto date; firmware patches etc,!

# well you have a point for starters the cpu will cost at least twice as much and probably the mobo too! you set up looks fine! the most recent things i have considered are mobo bandwidths, that ratio thing, and memory speed, the psu you've chosen looks good, but have you looked at ax1200/1500i, I'll get back to you soon after i look at INTels cpu prices

Guess I'll have to do some more research, INTEL seems to be BMW budget in comparison to my Chevy budget. My AMD build is roughly $2400, but I can lower it by going with lesser size SSD & HHD and I didn't realize that Intel motherboards can be maxed out with 64Megs of RAM. AMD really needs to come out which the 10 series motherboard and forget about the APUs

CPU:
Intel Core i7-4930K Ivy Bridge-E 6-Core 3.4GHz (TOO MUCH?)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116939 - $579.99

CPU Cooling:
Corsair Hydro Series H105 Extreme Performance 240mm
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181060 - $114.99

Motherboard:
ASUS P9X79 LE LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131855 - $229.99

Memory:
Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (If quad channel is needed, then I'll need a cheaper kit)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233401 - $229.99

Video Card:
Will be an NVIDIA card, but don't known which one to go with yet, brand, model, etc

Power Supply:
Corsair HX Series HX1050 1050W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139034 - $219.99

PC Tower:
Same one as above

SSD/HHD:
Will be much smaller since the higher cost for the CPU, maybe a 250GB SSD & a 4TB HHD with 64MB cache instead of 128MB

And for the record...this will either be my 1st Intel build or my 4th AMD build. Never had any bad experiences with AMD, minor driver issues with certain games, but that's about it.

Income Tax....lol....Plus I've been volunteering to work out of town to get $45 a day per DM on top of my regular pay. So I might just wait for the 5th gen, at any rate the price of the 4th will go down even more and maybe...just maybe AMD will release the 10 series chipset. Thanks for the input though, I will use this same thread to follow up when the time is near.
