Sometimes if I'm playing games or watching youtube my monitor goes black, all of the fans ramp up to max speed, and my computer resets. I'm not sure what could be the problem. All of my temps are good. Does anyone know whats going on?

Thanks for the reply! This will probably help me finish diagnosing my computer. Good job on getting it solved!

I have the same problem with my build. I would recommend to first check your RAM. Grab a copy of Linux, they usually have a RAM tester on their ISO's. Burn it to a flash drive, boot up and check your RAM. Another thing that could be causing the problems could be a failing PSU. If you have another PSU laying around or in another PC. Try swapping and seeing if that solves your issue. It could also be a blue screen but they sometimes blackout if your graphics drivers are having problems. See if you can update those. (I know that's a repetitive response but I'm laying out your options.)

Do you think I can just download a program like memtest or something, rather than installing Linux? I know all of my drivers are up to date, as I have just updated them. And I think I will probably try switching out the PSU.

You don't have to install Linux. I just recommend Linux for that. Windows has a memory test software built in if you prefer that. Just click start and type in Memory. The full program name is "Windows Memory Diagnostics".
