Recently (last 4 days), my bell white router (2wire 2701Hg-G) has been disconnecting everyone from the internet randomly at various times of the day, sometimes it disconnects less often then others and then sometimes it will disconnect 4 times an hour.
What shows on the router when everyone is disconnected is the internet light goes out, and the dsl light flashes green, 1-3 minutes later it will reconnect itself and then reconnect everyone to the internet.
The other disconnection that occurs, which is 1-3 times a day is the internet light will go red and the dsl light will stay solid, all other lights will remain functioning.
I have tried calling my ISP provider, 3 times, each representative tries something different, they check the line, and 2 of them have said it was fine and the other said there was an interference, so would it only show I had a issue when it disconnects? Also they monitor it for an hour, which for the first two representatives I had no disconnections, making them think that the solution has been resolved and then after it remains disconnecting later on. After the third call, they have agreed to send out a tech out to look at the router and the connections. I have read other forums about this topic and in many cases they said that the technician didn't have a resolution, and now i'm worried this will happen to me, and as a competitive gamer and Netflix addict this is very irritating...
I have tried full reset, factory reset, wireless configuration reset and the firewall reset. My ISP provider have changed settings and that didn't resolve the problem.
I didn't do anything in particular such as change my plan or move the router before this started happening.
Any resolutions are greatly appreciated.
