Black bars around certain games.

Hi,

I do not use a monitor at this point of time but will be getting one soon. I use a 24 inch tv which is 1080p and is connected with a HDMI. For some reasons when I open some certain games like bf3, gta sa and more probally I get these thin/thick black bars around my game and not sure how to remove them.

If someone could help me with this, I will be grateful.

You are probably not running the game at 1080 resolution. Go into the graphics setting for the game and set it to the resolution of the screen.

I play mainly all my games in 1080p Like bf3 and such. GTA SA can't be played in 1080p The thing I do not understand my old pc would never had black bars around a game even if I did not play them in 1080p

You will then need to change your Overscan/Underscan settings for your graphics card drivers.

Who's brand of graphics are you using Nvidia or AMD.
