msi gtx 760 twin frozr oc temp on load is 99 degrees

I have recently bought the msi GTX 760 oc card online from flipkart. After Installing it in my cabinet and playing games on maximum settings my GPU's maximum temperature reached 99 degrees and stays there. My idle temperature shows 42 degrees but when playing games it reaches 99 even after using gaming app and choose gaming mode or OC mode it goes beyond 99 and reaches about 101 degrees . Basically I'm from India. Is the temperature differs region wise and also my cabinet is a little congested so i removed my side panel of my cabinet but the temperature remains the same. As per written in the box this product's MFG date is February 2014 . So the temperature Irritates me. Is is ok for a graphics card to go beyond 90 degrees ? What is the maximum temperature under load for this card ?

No - that's too hot.If it is under 1.1V, then take it back and get a replacement.

as per GPU-Z the the VDDC is showing 1.0250 V while playing games. Is that OK ??

That sounds like a faulty card or your case is REALLY small and compact

my cabinet is an old one. Its length is 16 inches and graphics card's length is 10 inches. It's really congested in there. because the card almost covers the lower part of the cabinet and my hard disk is in the lower part. And also the wires of SMPS are really very thick.
so voltage is not the issue then what is the problem because my card's temp in idle condition is around 42 degrees but when I start a game lets say sniper elite 3 which is on max by the way when I minimized it to check the temp then it shows 98 degrees

As we said - your card is faulty. Get a replacement.

The card is showing 99 degrees but when I touched it after shutting down it feel cold. Is resolution affects temp of the card because when i decrease resolution temp decreases. I am using 21.5 inch monitor with 1920 x 1080 res.

As per nvidia website the maximum temperature is for gtx 760 is 97 degrees. It is good ??
