Unrecoverable bootloader error (0x01000005. I called Customer Service and they didn't know. It won't turn off or on- just this msg. in top L in red, the logo in the middle and Powered by Nvidia Tegra in bottom L. Won't respond or cold boot. Am going to let it run out of power and try to restart but it was out of power when this happened. If I push the off button it just turns itself back on again. Only had it a few months, never dropped or damaged. Have data on it needed for a job due in 1 week so would appreciate any help.

hi, No, I hadn't used it for a week, so I plugged it in, pushed the 'ON' button and got that error message. I let it run down and then attached it back onto the keyboard that was charged up, but it is doing the same thing again. Sorry, I don't know what "RMA it" means.
I read your link info= not sure what most of it means but will try the paperclip. I'm not sure what I will lose by doing this though- does a complete reboot (?fastboot?) erase everything you've put on it? I guess the pics and work info will be on the SDcard.

PS...I don't know what a 'blob file' is either...and it's completely not functioning so I couldn't download any info for it.
from the link:
"Here how i restored my TF300T JB

download your appropriate lates firmware from Asus (WW, US etc.) and extract the zip twice so you have your blob file

install your device drivers if needed (i used Google SDK ones) (and as a Tip Win8 sucks for Fastboot stuff so try to get Win7 Vista XP for this)"

RMA = return merchandise authorization - though reading your post again I don't think it applies here.

Since it's clear you don't really understand the process in the link I sent, I think you're better off sending it to Asus for a warranty repair. However, that will obviously take more than a week and I don't know how critical the tablet is to your job.
