Ahey guys I posted a few times trying to get help, but proved unsuccessful.
But I just built my new rig everything seems to be running fine but when I run benchmarks like 3dmark which doesn't even run at 1080 in demo and games like cs go and dayz, my card starts making a whinning noise, I'm sure it's my card, but it's only when I run games and benchmarks, my games don't really go past 80 fps in 1080. So what could be the deal, should I rma or what? Please help me! I'm new to all this, I just want my baby to run happy and strong.

Here are the specs:
Mobo_Asrock z97 fatal1ty killer
Psu_Corsair cx600m
Gpu_Msi r9 280x
Cpu_i5 4690k
Ram_team Vulcan 2133mhz 2x4gb
Ssd_120gb
Hdd_1tb
Psu cooler_Corsair h60
Os_Windows 7 64bit
Thanks

It means either the coils are whining (which isnt bad, but annoying anyways) or its not receiving a stable power output from the PSU.
I'm not sure how good Corsair makes the CX series, but I assume they're good enough.
Downclock the GPU by 100-200MHz, and see if it still makes that sound.

Dont you think that will defeat the purpose of buying a 250 dollars card?. Its worth a shot, I'll try after work tomorrow, but it's doin this whine on everything I play no matter how high the fps, even on like 30 fps it still has its whine

Hello,

Please install the HWmonitor, let it running and check the +12V values from time to time; if it dips below +12V (+11,xxx), the PSU cannot deliver the power.

The sound SHOULD get louder the higher the FPS gets.
Mine starts coil squealing at around 500FPS, and then its crying at 3000FPS

But I'm talking as low as 30 fps it's whining...

Then yes, it sounds like a bad coil whine, or your GPU doesnt like the PSU.
You could replace the card.
