my gtx 660 returned from rma , now i get 10 to 15 fps in high graphics games like grid autosport and watch dogs BUT before rma i got 35 to 55 in these games on high setting, so send back for rma agin , but this time whenever i launched games , games starts and pc shuts down even software like 3dmax and maya pc shuts down on launch, so i send back again , people from RMA were asking me about my mobo , i told them its fine , some friends told me its must issue with psu, but i have crossair cx600 watts , n when i use my old gpu pc works fine even i can launch games and play them on 5 to 10 fps but atleast it works , dont know where the fault is ,
GPU OR RMA

Well if you keep sending it back with the same results then it doesn't sound like a problem with the card but something on your end. Have you plugged the card in the right pcie slot? You can get better performance if you put it in the pcie 3.0 slot if your board has one. Are you using the latest drivers? If you aren't sure get the newest driver revisions from the card manufacturer (or NVIDIA). There's a chance you got a bad card. What card were you running before? I had seen someone have that issue before and it was due to it being install ed in the wrong pcie slot.

check temperatures of gpu and other components while playing to see if anything is overheating or not
to see if psu is a problem or not, check its voltages at +3.3c, +5v, and +12v ( use hwinfo32 or 64 to check temperature and voltage ) these voltages should remain above ( or atleast remain at 95% ) of their respective values that is 3.3v, 5v, 12v

and try a clean install of windows

i have inserted gpu in right slot , drivers are up to date , resulst are not same , after 1st rms fps dropped from 35 , 55 to 10 ,15 ,
after 2nd rma pc shuts down after lauching the games ,
reason for rma was one of the fan was not working but i could play games smoothly , but i though i should rma it before 2nd fan stops working but they fucked up the gpu,

I recommend to try what truegenius suggested. Electronics act really wonky if voltages are out of whack. If those check out, then from the sound of it, there is something wrong with the GPU itself. The fact that you played it with 1 fan out makes sense that the card throttled itself way back to keep it from overheating. It is possible that something on the card (like VRM's, caps or some other component) was damaged during that time. If another graphics card works fine in the same machine, you can almost count on the issue being the card.

If your motherboard and RAM are working fine, then I can't see any reason why the PC would be shutting itself off. Do you get a blue screen before it shuts down? Sometimes you will get a blue screen before it does, but just for a second (it will kind of flash) before it dies. I have seen this as pretty common in overheat or under volt situations with overclocked CPU's, and would think that it wouldn't be out of the question for a graphics processor. From the sound of it, it doesn't seem like they did anything for the 2nd RMA except fix the fan. Maybe a 3rd time is the charm, tell them what's wrong and maybe they will give you a new card. If you bought it from Amazon or Newegg they shouldn't give you trouble if you want a replacement.

checking voltage through SPECCY SOFTWARE IN MOTHERBOARD SECTION WITHOUT LOAD

VOLTAGE
+12V 3.812 V
+5V 5.360 V
CPU CORE 2.004 V
VIN3 1.656 V
VIN4 2.988 V
+3.3V 2.788 V
VIN6 2.232 V
VIN7 1.668 V
VIN8 1.488 V

these voltages are way too off
can you post a screen shot of hwinfo32 sensor ( because it provides more information than other software ) so that we can have a look at it

you will need to click on "sensor" icon ( a yellow icon located at 4th position from left ), it will show you sensor information
post 2 shots of that sensor info, 1st when pc is idle, 2nd while running some cpu intensive task like prime95 test and furmark test, this will give us idea of voltage drop during load and will make it easy to see if psu is a problem or some thing is overheating

btw, it looks like you are using same windows for both cards
it is recommended to clean reinstall windows while switching graphics cards else you will see significantly lower performance from the graphics card you installed

your cpu is running hot
i see that its max usage was only 25% but i reached to 70'c which is the limit for 1st gen i5, indeed max 60'c is recommended, and your minimum temp of 50'C is high too

by this data, your cpu is surely overheating, and this could be the issue for shut down
i can't tell you to stress test your cpu using prime95 because it is already overheating

if your pc is dirty then you should clean it else you may need to re-seat the heatsink

+1. It's important to keep the cooling fans (case and CPU cooler) clean. Excessive dust is hard on the fan motors themselves (shortens their life), and they don't move air as efficiently. I've seen some malfunctioning PC's work fine after being blown out. You might think about re-applying the thermal compound.

i think you are right (sirstinky) i should reapply thermal compound , becoz last time i used a cheap one

A good thermal compound makes a big difference. Its worth the extra money. I've seen temps go down 5 degrees. Get a good brand. Arctic Silver 5 seems to be the most reputable.
