It'll work but maybe get a 600W instead and from a better manufacturer of psu, like seasonic, evga or xfx

Yea,it will work.
But the PSU isn't good.
I will recommend a new,better quality PSU from Seasonic,EVGA,XFX,Antec or Rosewill.Make sure it's 650 or more. ;)

What if I put in an Intel Core i7-4790K instead of the what I posted up there? what sort of cooler would I need for the processor, and how well would the pc work overall?

I also changed the PSU to a 600w EVGA, do i need more?

You don't need an i7-4790K if you ONLY do gaming.
If you do video editing and that kinda stuff, then an i7 is an excellent choice.
No,you don't need more than 600W.
All the best. ;)

What model of the evga is it? Because some evga's are bad while some are very good, if you changed it to a i7, there will be no change in gaming performance, a i7 is only beneficial if you render or do 3d work, if you want to overclock, a noctua nh d14 would be good, or a cooler master hyper evo 212 if you just want the temps to be low, but don't use a h60, it's not very good
