Hey guys. Its been a long time..

My system randomly restarts out of no where..not even when heavy gaming or something, while normal processes too.
The occurance was very rare before but now its happening 2-3times a day.
Its a new rig and everything is in warranty.

I can think 4 possible thing sthat make your PC restart

How old is your rig? 4 months? If it is AMD and it is at least 4 months old, the thermal paste dried and now it restarts for security reasons.

Virus edited the registry or power cut during startup or shutdown. You'll probably need to defrag and repair the registry.

Virus!!! Clean your computer with a good antivirus

Disk problem. Download AVG PC tuneup 2013 trial and do a deep scan to the disk. You need to reboot, not to force dismount the disc

With the info you gave, i can't think anything more. Please provide more info.

Hm... Check if your PSU can still handle your GPU
Try also booting into linux live CD or live USB and see if it restarts. If not, then you have to format and reinstall windows. If it restarts, try starting your PC with only 1 stick of ram and without the gpu. If it restarts again, check BIOS for a restart optin (pretty unsure for this). Then try reinstalling your gpu. If it restarts while without the GPU it didn't restart, it may be GPU hardware failure or the PSU have problems and don't provide the power needed for the GPU. Your GPU needs at least a 550W PSU and if a PSU have probles, might lose 200W of its power, so it can't handle the GPU. Try also with another PSU. See it works.

Hope I helped and didn't waste your time and money
