I've got an FX-8320 and I've come to notice that getting an R9 290 GPU will be bottlenecked by the CPU. If I were to overclock my CPU would it solve this or should I choose a different GPU instead? Any answers are much appreciated
The. 290 will be fine in my opinion. Remember I said the 8320 goes well with the 290 and I showed some evidence. So it will be fine when you overclock your CPU. Like I plan to get an overclock CPU but will not overclock until my PC is old.

Oh ok, cool. Would you recommend OC'ing my CPU to suit the r9 290 or just getting a 280x
If I had the money to fork out a bit more then I would be going with the 290. Yes if you overclock your CPU then the most suitable choice would be the 290 as they go hand in hand as I have heard this in the forum or even the 290x.

Alright, and I've got a Hyper T4 cooler, would that be okay for overclocking my CPU to 8350 speed? And is overclocking a particularly difficult task?
The T4 is an alternative to the CM Hyper 212 Evo. Some people use this because they can fit the CM Hyper 212 Evo. The cooler you've got is fine.
But it is not good for high overclocking. You can overclock to 4GHz but I am not to sure if it's stable. But just searched up the internet on how to overclock your CPU.

A 290 will no well too. But when stable is mostly about your CPU frequency nothing much about your GPU. As your 290 is one of the best load out with the 8320 in my opinion.
So you would be fine. Just PM me if you have problems.

Don't mind picking the solution.
So your saying if I got a 290 with my 8320 and overclocked I'd be fine? Or if I just got one and stayed at standard speeds?
