I just tried to setup a new router i've just purchased. Then when i had it all up and running, i forgot to do something on the old router. So i connected to the old router and the internet works. But i can't manage to log in to the router. When i type 192.168.0.1, nothing happens!? It has always been that ip adress i should log in to? I have tried to reset it to factory settings. But nothing has changed?. I still can't log in.

Giving help to access routers can be outside the TOS of this forum so we need more info to help you, but i'd probably just advise looking up the information in the manual or contacting the manufacture of your router, as thats about all anyone here can help you with regarding accessing the router.

Other than that make sure that your new router is unplugged and plug directly into the old router using an ethernet cable with wifi switched off. If it doesn't work try resetting everything and plug it all in again. The router does not need to be connected to the internet to access the settings through the IP address.
