I have recently moved house and my computer doesn't seem to connect to the internet very well through wireless from the room it is in. The router is in the next room so I don't know why so I decided to try an ethernet connection but since I never use it I didn't even have the ethernet drivers installed. I downloaded the drivers. The driver is for GIGABYTE H55-USB3 (rev 2.0). I have used the ethernet on this computer before but I recently reinstalled windows on it and just didn't bother installing ethernet until now. but now it says unidentified network and no network access. I have tried some of the solutions for similar questions on this site but they don't seem to help. my router is netgear d6300 aswell. and I connect with ethernet through the powerline adapter things which work for the foxtel and my consoles.

Solution
go to Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections, double click on the connection, then hit properties, then click ipv4 and make sure it is set to obtain ip address automatically and dns automatically. also in the start menu type cmd and then type ipconfig and screen shot the results

go to device manager, uninstall the network driver that you are using and then click "look for changes" this will reinstall the driver.
if that does not work please check to see if you have the right ethernet driver installed for your motherboard.
