-16gb DDR3 crucial ballistix
-FX-6300 @ 3.8 turbo
-sapphire R9 270x 2gb
-gigabyte bla bla bla usb 3.0 ( cant remember the name lol ) mobo.
-600w thermaltake psu
1tb dw sata

Do any of you recommend the 8350 over the 6300 for gaming? im working on futureproofing my pc to last for 3-5 years.

okay, thanks , I was going to go with intel but I dont have 2000 bucks to build a complete intel rig. AMD is better priced and performs really well. Thanks again

yeah thats true but when I began the build, I was novice and went with amd based on performance and price. My mobo is am3+ so if I want to make the switch, i need to buy a whole new platform.
