Will this laptop require more power from the processor to run?

I am very pleased to say that I've found the laptop I'm going to buy! Here's the specs:

Brand: HP compaq 6510b
CPU: intel core 2 duo 2.1 ghz
OS: Windows Vista Business
RAM: 2 GB
HD: 80 GB
GPU: intel gma x3100

The last thing I want to know is will the intel gma x3100 allow me to use the aero glass, or will that be up to the cpu?

The cpu and video chipset combined determine whether you can use aero. I assume you have a T8100 cpu. I have run the T8100 cpu with 2gb ram on a compaq 8510 and it runs aero just fine. However it will run faster with aero disabled.
