Hi guys,
I am a first time builder and have already purchased some of the PC parts, but I still have some to go (CPU, CPU cooler, RAM, SSD, HDD)
Just any opinions, recommendations, compatibility issues
Aren't on that tight a budget so you can go a bit over original price but nothing too expensive,
Will be using this PC for just gaming, and the occasional movie etc....

Thanks :)

Hey man, I can't get that CPU because it would require a BIOS flash update (idk much about it but all I know is that it's quite hard and you shouldn't do it, if you don't know what your doing) also I thought I would get a water cooler just to keep it extra cool and the hyper 202 evo don't fit apparently and I don't want to risk it touching the window. Please can you suggest another good cooler then? Price for me right now really isn't that much of an issue so I could easily just get a water cooler and not worrying about anything not fitting.

Man thanks for helping out, appreciate it :) but the thing is that I already have the motherboard and really can't be arsed to get another motherboard, I'm fine with mine as I really don't need all the features of the gaming motherboards and premium motherboards. Why do you think I should get a larger SSD? all I will be using it is as the boot drive and a couple of applications? also the hyper 212 evo looks like it won't fit and I don't want to risk it not fitting. Also that ram has high heat spreaders which I don't want to risk it interfering with anything else.

Hey man, why did you go with that CPU cooler? I mean it just looks huge, but it is shorter than the 212 evo, do you think I will need it for just a mild over-clock on my CPU, probably around 4.00 GHz (I don't have much clue about overclocking because I have just been using a mac laptop) Also for overclocking I was just thinking of using the OC genie which comes with MSI motherboards, should I use it? or should I do it manually even though I don't really know anything about overclocking
