Ok guys so i've had some weird problems lately.
I decided to upgrade to this motherboard so that with time i could get a fx 8350 (hasnt happened yet) But currently im running with:
Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 (the cause of the problem)
Asus GTX 560 Ti
Kingston SSDNow v300
Amd Phenom II x4 970 never oc'ed
noname 8gb ram

The problem is that while using the pc normally (especially when gaming) i will either get a bluescreen OR every program will just stop responding and there is a stuttering high pitch sound.
i hope you can help me with this issue as it is really annoying to keep going back to my old gigabyte mobo without sata 6gb/s..

Nope. I've tried but i gave up trying to figure everything out. The problem doesn't happen with my other gigabyte mobo, so it is this mobo that is causing the issue, it might be some voltage on the ram but its set to 1.25 and shouldnt be too much.

Over the past 24 hours, that motherboard always seems to be an issue. I would say its the motherboard itself. DO NOT upgrade the CPU with that motherboard unless you want to update your BIOS to 14.01 or higher to support the AMD FX 8XXX series.

Try reinstalling the OS. For a motherboard upgrade, always reinstall the OS. That may be the problem as well.

The bios is fully updated to 25.01 so i cant see how thats ever gonna happen, i didn't intend on buying a new cpu until i got this problem resolved, but i've googled a little and found out asus fucked up on this one, i just want to know whats causing it, and if i should RMA

Either RMA or Reinstall the OS. IF you reinstall the OS and it does the same thing, I would RMA and buy a different board that supports the new CPU you are getting. In the mean time, use the old Gigabyte board until you get your new cpu and motherboard.

Oh well, im just really tired of having a 3gb/s sata mobo when i have an ssd, but yeah sure if it works, it works. I'm never buying asus an asus mobo again that's for sure. I've reinstalled the OS several times and it always seems to work for a couple of days and then shit hits the fan

Asus is a good brand for motherboards. That motherboard is garbage itself. Their other boards are phenominal! ROG and TUF boards are excellent! I do know that I am staying away from that motherboard xD Good thing I did not buy it.

Anyways I wish you good luck. I am sorry to hear about that motherboard issue. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or ask around the forums. :D

Will do, sadly i dont have money for the "expensive" boards, so i stick with brands that can deliver quality for low money as well, and it seems like Asus cant

All my stuff is Asus so i know it's a good brand, but it seems like they have failed miserably and failed to acknowledge it.
