if gpu become hot affect performance.does it mean gigabyte hd7790 2gb ddr5 with dual fan better than r7260x 2gb ddr5 even with dual hd7790 1gb ddr5 is better than r7260x 2gb? The actual fps when i check only 1-2 fps and 100mhz diffrent between that two card.so which one is better gigabyte hd7790 2gb ddr5 with dual fan or r7260x 2gb ddr5 with single fan?yes, i know those 2 will bottlenect my core 2 duo e7400.but i confuse choosing cooler or hoter.my PSU APPLE GREEN EXTREME 500watt. i will appreciate who help me.

Not directly. But on cards with Boost, high temperature may force the card to run at lower clocks, which will hurt performance. High temperature also means there's less room for overclocking. In this case I don't think it will matter much. Maybe the R7 260X will be a little louder.

r7 260x , as it keeps card under 65 degrees celcius, i have a gtx 750ti the outperforms both cards and oc pretty well.
I would prefer gtx 750 ti as u wont need to upgrade your power supply and it runs very cool.

Go for the gigabyte. Gigabyte's cards cooling and controlling systems are very good. Don't think so much about bottleneck, there will be change in gaming but in future when u have money go and buy a processor. So much high temp affects performance but not so much. Highest is 80C to 85C.
