Hi all im buying my first components for my new build
Cpu - i5 4690k
Mobo - Ranger Z97
Ram - 8gigs
SSD - samsung evo 250gb

Im asking you an advice a have an old PSU BlueStorm 500W bronze can it hold this all without an gpu and for an month without any risk of destroying my new components?

Solution
Yes, your system will work fine. New technology uses less power and gives high performance. If u want to install graphic card in future, then u have to make sure that the GPU will work or not.

Apparently they're missing a part that most PSUs have. A Metal oxide varistor.

"It's what most SMPS units use to keep from done getting blown up in power surges. The unit has active PFC, and is relying on that circuitry to dampen power surges."
