So I have made my mind up about getting the R9 270x 2GB GPU and was wondering about the quality I would be able to play in.

I do not have a particularly big budget that was the main reason I went with the 270x and why I will only purchase one now and another one to cross-fire in the near future.

I play using a 720p monitor ( to be upgraded to a 1080p soon ) and was wondering how getting another 270x would increase both quality and performance of my gaming rig, games like Skyrim and Witcher 2 would be my most preferable to play on Ultra, Skyrim possibly with HD Texture mods added. Does adding another GPU double the performance in FPS per say? Or does it allow for more higher quality gameplay? Also will 2x270x 2GB cards act the same as 1x270x 4GB card? I heard that 4GB is better for multiple monitors, which I will be using for my Youtubing and such, but then again I wont be doing that until I can afford the 2nd GPU and 2nd Monitor.

Its a lot of information I am asking for but I would appreciate if you could enlighten me on anything if possible

I plan on purchasing the GPU within the next few days so pretty much any information will be taken into account.

270x is high settings on 1080p roughly. It doesn't double performance more like 40-50% increase, no, the ram in video cards don't add up, so if you crossfire 2gb 270x, you still only get 2gb

Np, just remember that not all games support dual gpu's very well, that you may want to increase airflow in case, and increase wattage maybe of your psu, 650W or more should be okay
