Hi Guys,

Im wiring up a stand with 3 layers of 5050 led stips. And need to know if using a 12v 1amp power supply is enough.

So each layer is identical. Im going to describe from LED to 44key controller.
-(4) 5050 LED strips 3-led section strips. I cut at every cut line.
-(4) 4-Pin Male/Female Connector Wire Cable (Link: http://goo.gl/UwS1sB )
-(1) Female 1 To 4 Connector Splitter 4 Pins 4 Way to connect the (4) LED strips together (Link: http://goo.gl/GOuIRj )
-(1) 44key Controller to control the lights on each layer seperatly.

Now all (3) 44key controllers are being connected using this (Link: http://goo.gl/69ERFu )

From my calculation i need a 12v 1Amp power supply? This right?

Thanks, Tama.

Do you have a datasheet or at least the link to that LED strip model?

You cut at every cut line, meaning you have a strip of 3 LEDs. And, if I understand correctly, you have 3 strips of 3 LEDs each? 9 LEDs at total.

In that case, 12 W (12 V, 1 A) power supply will be way more than enough.
