Hello i asked this same question but my details are not consistent..
So while i was copying files from my laptop to my harddrive it disconnected because of a faulty usb port... now my problem is will my other files(one thats been there since forever) be okay? i mean i dont mind the file that im copying get corrupt, im more worried about the content of my harddrive rather..
