i just build my first pc.
MB - Asus f2a85-m pro
Apu - AMD A10-6800k
Cooler - Arctic Alpine 64Plus
GPU - Radeon HD 6670
Power - CoolerMaster 500W

dont know why but coretemp does not show tempreture
if you do nothing with it.
cpuid HWmonitor shows - 44 min and 69 max temp....
AMD overdrive shows - Same as HW

if i run prime95 all cores on 100% load
cpuid HWmonitor shows - 44 min and 107 max temp ..........
AMD overdrive shows - up till 25 ?????....???

when i go to bios it shows temp from 42 till 44 in bios

i dont know which one to trust more so asking for your help how to reduce it

(btw when i got that arctic cooler there was thermal paste applied so i left it on)

ANY advise ?

Solution

Use socket temps, HWinfo64 shows your socket temps while logged in (look under your motherboard sensors)

In addition AMD overdrive reports the distance from max operating temperature - 25 degrees margin under load is plenty, 10 is good enough :)

Yes cpu fan is plugged in lol :D and its spinning ;) CpuZ ?? does it shows core temps ??? i dont think so or i missing something. SpeedFan thats more likely show a truth Min 31 max 58 on prime95 loaded.
But how i know that it shows right ? maybe that HWmonitor showed right ? and if i try to overlock i will burn it.....?
Thanks

UEFI bios doesn't do idle power very well - I owned an a10-6800k and used to reach 52° in BIOS...

I have the same chip, and I can tell you, HWmonitor gives a couple of incorrect temperatures. I even had one claim to be at 143°C... Trust your bios somewhat, and AMD overdrive can be used to check temps for overclocking. Not the real temp, but the "thermal margin" or whatever it's called (how much higher can your temperature go before throttling)
