Is my build good enough to play next gen games?

Solution

No problem:)
This would get decent frames:

You would not be able to play next-gen games on their highest settings, but you will still get good performance at lowered settings (like medium). In current games, like battlefield 4, the card is capable of playing on ultra (though I would lower the settings a bit to get a higher framerate). Here is the link to Tom's review of the graphics card

Something like Arkham Knight or Witcher 3.

Wait for real. The build you suggested would even run The Witcher 3 at a playable frame rate of 30fps? You're not pulling my leg?

You won't get super frames, especially not with 4 GB, but it's coming out in 2015, I think, so you have plenty of time to buy another 4 GB. It WILL get 20-30.

What if I swapped out the 4GB for an 8GB? What would happen then?

Then it WILL get at least 30-40 FPS. it would only cost 40$ more, after all and it's a very good investment.

Well damn, if this build with 8GB can run The Witcher 3 at 30-40 fps then this is a great investment. Thanks a bunch man.

No problem:)
