CPU not seating properly into socket

I have an AMD A8-5600K CPU I got back in April and am just now getting around to putting a build together with it. When seating it in the socket the left side goes in fine but the right side won't go in all the way. I will attach pictures so you can see what I'm talking about. Help would be very appreciated. Thanks!

Do you have bent CPU pins?

Lift the level all the way up.
You DON'T and MUST NOT press the CPU.
Make sure that the CPU is parallel to the socket itself.
You should be able to fit the CPU.

is your motherboard compatible with your AMD a8? you better check it out !
or check the arrow sign in Processor and align it to mobo with the same arrow sign..

You can see that it says:" Socket FM2" on the socket itself. AMD A8s are FM2.

Dont do anything, you should go or call some Comp. tech. , and you will find the answer ^_^

Is there a chance that the motherboard came faulty?
