my current parts list for my first gaming PC I would love advice on what components and peripherals to use. I am trying to create a cheap but still powerful gaming set up including a monitor and keyboard with mouse and also a headset I would like to stay in the price range of £500-£700 or $800-$1200. so recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks,
Toby

Here is a set up

Gains over your build that you chose:
Better CPU
Better GPU
Faster RAM
Higher wattage PSU (and modular)
Higher quality case
Better mouse

I went for a 22 inch monitor and a headset that is comfortable and will get the job done and it isn't anything fancy, but a headset is an easy and cheap upgrade if you desire a nicer headset.
Base Total: $1280.58
Combo Discounts: -$20.00
Mail-in Rebates: -$85.00
Total: $1175

Tell me if you want something changed or if you want a cheaper price (I can put in a cheaper case or something along those lines if you want to save a little bit more, but the build I chose for you is intended to be nice all around, so I chose two good quality cases for you to choose from)

The build includes a case, but it is a case that is larger than necessary for you. Something like this is a bit smaller and is still a great case. Either would work. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?gclid=CKvv446mm8ACFUw2aQodKQ8Apw&Item=N82E16811352034&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Computer+Cases-_-N82E16811352034&ef_id=Uf1vHAAABK47yQMw:20140817220028:s

Thanks for the suggestion I will be sure look into it once I have saved enough to start the build.
btw will it be easy to build in that case seen as I am relatively new to the PC building world.

Thanks again.
