How to get better quality in movies?

i need to know this? is there any way to incercase pixels,dark,(like modding)i'm using media player classic, and vlc and i got high end gaming pc(R9 290X+I7 4790k) so what should i do to get the highest quality?

Only the video quality defines the amount of pixels etc. If you want a better hd one, download a higher quality version of whatever it is you're trying to watch

are u sure?cause some expert(in tomshardware) told me that they use home cinema to push the quality further!so how is that?

I think to enhance it, you would have to pay for software that enhances the quality
