how to use built in graphic for this intel cpu

I have:
ASUS Z97-DELUXE(NFC & WLC) LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard and
Intel Core i7-4790K Haswell Quad-Core 4.0GHz LGA 1150 Desktop Processor BX80646I74790K

Someone had said I could use the built in graphics on this cpu and that I didn't need an extra graphic card.

Is there something I need to do to set that up or will machine know that when I crank it up?

Are you planning on playing games on it? If you aren't then you are fine, unless your monitor doesn't support hdmi or display port but I'm pretty sure you can get an adapter for hdmi to whatever the connection is.

I just powered on for first time and monitor (hdmi) is saying no signal. My motherboard seems to be working - all lit up etc., but I can't see the posting.

what am i doing wrong?

never mind - i just needed to keep pressing button on monitor to change it to hdmi
