XFX Core Edition PRO 550W is a good powersupply but it is not haswell ready I think, is it a problem? Do I even need to care? (will use i3 4130 and 280x)

It's no problem , if you have trouble you just disable the sleep states in the BIOS.

Most don't encounter issues.

If you have the original Core edition it's not Haswell ready , you just disable the sleep states .

Yes it is because the TS is already Haswell ready out of the box.

Great choice.
