Hi i have been stuck in a loop of "start,fail,restart" for a couple of hours now and I have managed to narrow it down to my HDD so i was going to reset it but my but my recovery media (which is my installation disk) is supposedly not valid and I can't use a recovery point on the HDD because there are non

Can I do anything to reset the HDD without spending money?

I believe reseting your PC to factory default will work. It wont delete your OS but will delete everything else. Without backups and that disc nothing else will be free. Hope this helps! Good luck!
