So basically I have two laptops and I wanted to know which one would be better to upgrade (getting rid of other).
One of them..
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.140303-2144)
System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard
System Model: HP ProBook 4540s
BIOS: Default System BIOS

Memory: 4096MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 3974MB RAM
Chip Type: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000

The other..
Operating System: Windows 8.1 64-bit (6.3, Build 9600) (9600.winblue_gdr.131030-1505)
System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard
System Model: Hp 2000 Notebook PC
BIOS: F.22
Processor: AMD E2-2000 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (2 CPUs), ~1.8GHz

The probook has a much more powerful processor. The HD 7340 is better than the intel graphics 4000 but not by much, so I would personally go with the probook. (It really is only slightly better) And what do you mean by upgrade? On laptops you can usually only change the RAM and HDD. (There are laptops where you have more options, but this won't be the case with yours.)

So what about the fact that one has more dedicated memory than the other? Probook has 64, other has 384. Can I buy a new processor for the Hp-2000 and have better gamming than the Probook?
