Should i change to a better Price/Performance motherboard

So i was thinking about getting the Maximus VII hero but from what i've red its not worth the price . Could you suggest me other red/black themed motherboards that are worth going for than the maximus vii hero . Also i am going to be OCing the CPU and the GPU .

I'd disagree, have the Z87 which was the best of the Z87 mobos, and the also the Z97 which is even better than the Z87 was, OC's better, handles DRAM better, runs cooler, BIOS is improved (both of mine in sig)

I'd say so, the Z87 Hero was/is the best selling and rated 1150 (Z87), and the Z97 has followed suit, think it is being slightly outsold by the Z97-A model 9more of a price thing), but Asus had the best handle on the Z87 chipset and has followed into the Z97
