I am new to tomshardware and this is my first forum post.
I am thinking about building a gaming computer but not to keep I already have one, but I want to build one and then sell it. I have a list of hardware and I would like to know how much a computer like this would go for. I don't want to sink a bunch of money into something and then sell it and not even break even. Thanks for your help. :wahoo:

Hardware:
Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus 76.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
A-Data XPG V1.0 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Western Digital BLACK SERIES 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Black Edition Video Card
Cooler Master Storm Scout 2 Advanced ATX Mid Tower Case
Cooler Master VSM 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer
Asus Xonar DSK Sound Card

Yeah, I just think building to order seems easier because if you end up holding it for 3-4 months and only make $100-200 it's not a great investment, and since you will probably only be offering the factory warranty on parts, the warranty you could give is reduced.

I doubt you are going to make money off it. You could maybe offer your services as a builder and make some money. Even though that is essentially the same thing, you are building a computer that you currently don't know if anyone wants so you may end up holding onto it for longer than you want.

True I guess it would be easier to offer a custom computer service based on a customers specs.
