Hello, I want to start hosting Minecraft servers for money using my newly built server room. In order for me to sell Minecraft servers I need multiple IP addresses to use. How would I go about getting multiple IP addresses? Would I just use different ports? Please help. Thanks!

hey mate, yes you need to contact your ISP for a static IP then run forward multiple ports off your router to the individual servers. Different port number for each internal IP. not sure how that would work with minecraft port requirements though. Alternatively you might get your ISP to assign you mutliple static IPs if they do that, could be expensive mind.

Thanks I just had to confirm my current knowledge and you helped!

@Hollywood - make sure you read the fine print in your ToS with the ISP. If you have household-class internet connection, your upload speed will be slow, and having many servers will make your customers run away.

Also - no pun intended, but get someone to help you with configuring your network.

I am under business class due to my parents work and and I don't get your pun. Plus is there anyone or anything you can recommend me when configuring it?
