whats the best monitor I can play games on with a r290?

I'm looking at monitors and Im trying to find the best monitor that my xfx double dissipation r290 can run. I play games like xcom, civilization, and the witcher. I was considering water cooling my r290 and trying to overclock it but im still pretty new to computers so maybe not.

1440p will be your best bet then with only 60hz, any higher and you'll go below 30fps, aka 4k

I was looking into a 2560x1440 because I heard they are much more immersive with top down games such as civilization. I'm trying to find the highest resolution a r290 can run. I'm sorry if im being unclear with my question im having a hard time wording it.

I have been looking at the qnix along with ASUS PB278Q 27-Inch. I know the qnix is alot cheaper but I've heard the monitors are not consistent in quality and if you happen to get a faulty one the return policy is a nightmare because its shipped from Korea. I don't know if this is a ridiculous question but would my gpu be able to run the LG Electronics UM95 34UM95? Do most games even run at 3440x1440?

yes, basically one or the other, both factors, the res and refrsh rate will improve your fps but you can only have one with your situation, so either 1080p with 144hz or 1440p with 60hz,
