Are those Linux benchmarks? If not then they are a bit meaningless in this context.

I've always reckoned that the Linux support for NVidia cards was better than AMD ones.

Nope, Windows benches.

NVidia's OpenGL support (closed source binaries) has always been better than that of AMD/ATI.

This doesn't belong in the Linux forums, moving....
