Hello comunity!

So i read many posts here explaining HOW to build this kind of PC. Everything understandable there.

My confusion is what should i plug where. I mean, the pc goes connected to the speakers and to a TV, but where does the stereo goes or the blue ray.

Another confusion is which one is better? Directly to spekears? or to some audio device? To have a blue ray device or to have a blue ray reader on the pc?

What if the speakers are ON the pc, and theres no other audio device, how does the sound goes from there if i play a movie on a blue ray device? or how should i conect everything?

Pls help me here since im a little confuse as you may see.

Solution

You can plug the PC audio input into one channel, and the blue ray player into another. Then just switch between them via buttons on the front of your stereo, eg:

An Audio system would sound better, but can be quite expensive. If you just have speakers, and don't want to buy an audio system, there is another way you can set everything up...

1) Buy a 3.5mm jack splitter (2 female to 1 male) and plug that into the audio port on the back of your PC. then, get a 3.5mm audio jack to a stereo audio jack...
Assuming I'm reading this right,

You can run the PC's audio out into a stereo system, using a 3.5mm audio jack to a stereo audio jack (one white and one red connector, for left and right, respectively), and then do the same thing for your Blue Ray player: run the audio cord from the player into your stereo. Then, plug the speakers into the audio out of your stereo.

Will this solve your problem?

This way, both the PC audio and blue ray audio will play out of the same speakers, without having to move cords around.

ok thx for the answer, so now i know a audio system would be better.

Now for it to sound as it should... is it necesary a sound card? i mean, to really enjoy the audio system
