I have this RAM; G.Skill Ripjaws F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL Dual Kit
In all monitoring apps, both stick of RAM run at 800MHz, i thought this was 1600MHz memory.
Do I have a problem or do the sticks 800x2=1600?

Solution
Actually, DDR is Double Data Rate - 800*2 =1600.
Dual channel, is 2 sticks of matched memory, in a board that supports it, allowing both sticks to work/be accessed together.

I see thank you also, I just gained a little extra knowledge. :)

Yes, the fact that it is DUAL channel is immaterial to the 1600, the stick's true freq is 800, so as JIMPZ stated it's 800x2=1600 effective....DRAM in of itself is a 64bit device, when placed in dual channel mode either the 2 or 4 sticks operate as a single 128bit device (tri runs as a 192bit device and true quad channel as a 256bit device), sorry but Suztera was simply wrong
